SmartDesk AI is a customer service and sales assistant for businesses that talk to customers on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and their own website. It is built and operated by AURAVIA LABS in Nairobi, Kenya, for small and growing businesses in East Africa.

What it does

• Replies to customer messages automatically, using the business's own information, products, prices and tone.
• Sends images, voice notes and documents, such as product photos or a business certificate, when a customer asks for them.
• Detects a customer's country from their phone number and sends the content for that country, such as the right certificate or payment details.
• Creates invoices and sends payment requests, including M-Pesa.
• Lets the business's own team take over any conversation at any time, with the full history in front of them.

How it works

1. The business creates an account and connects its WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and website channels.
2. The business trains its AI assistant with its own information: what it sells, prices, frequently asked questions, voice notes, images and documents.
3. The assistant answers customers around the clock using that content and the conversation so far.
4. The team steps in whenever a conversation needs a person, for example a large order or a complaint.

WhatsApp and Meta
